What are you looking for instead? There are plenty of things to do anywhere, and the city you are in is kind of arbitrary. You just have to take the initiative to do it. Sacramento certainly isn't twisting your arm to go to shows and get drunk, and thousands of people living in the area have nothing to do with music and drinking.
