Oh come on, can you name me a place where this stuff doesn't happen? I can't remember the last show that I went to in the Bay in which I got home before 2AM. Maybe you should just be happy that you live in a town where there are a few folks around who are dedicated enough to make shows ACTUALLY happen, because there are plently of places where they don't. Most places, actually.
And hey, if everyone is doing it wrong why not set up shows yourself? Show us all how it it should be done! See if you want to push some really cool band who just drove 600 miles to play in front to an audience of 3 or wait for another 30 minutes and hope that more people show up.
:Why can't shows start on time? Why can't they start at 8 PM? Why do there have to be like 5 bands playing each show, on a weeknight? Is it not cool to get home before 1 AM? Why do the same local bands have to open at every frigging show? Why don't they say whent hey are really starting so I can skip the horrible local band?
