:What was said (roughly) is that the jokesters here, in this 'scene', (or one might read: "people who make stupid ass comments"), sometimes might make it uncomfortable for a newish potential poster or even a semi-regular contributor to feel like it is an appropriate venue to post info about a show or topic when their post is likely to be met with virtual ridicule if it falls outside the parameters of the uber-indie-err-undie-err-whatever that makes this area/board/scene whatever so cool and invulnerable to criticism. Of course said potential poster could just take their ball and go play somewhere else, and, sadly, I sincerely believe that is exactly what some of you would most prefer...and to dismiss what passes as discourse on this message board as 'horse hooey' in my opinion only serves to legitimize the points raised by the original poster.

::thread has gotten way out of control. just because a couple people make stupid ass comments on a message board(this happens ALL the fucking time, so just ignore it please) it doesnt mean that there is this big division of "scenes". people go to shows they want to see. if they dont it means they dont want to see the show. the rest of this is just horse hooey.
