Hello Astronaut, Goodby Television say on their MySpace page that they count Modest Mouse *AND* Einst�rzende Neubauten as influences. Sounds like an ill-advised mixture, right? Go ahead and think that...You'll be surprised how well these elements blend together! Some parts twinkle, some parts are dancey, and other parts are like the weirdest parts of old Faust records. And they are just teenagers! The future's looking bright, so get ready! Get unjaded!
Among the pioneers of "free twee," Weirdo/Begeirdo are making some of the bravest and most honest music ever to combine insufferable cuteness, enthusiasm, and an experimental approach. Some people say it sounds a lot like Beat Happening plus scads of effusive ecstatic joy. They will melt your heart, I swear!
