Come hungry and thirsty. Your new year’s eve party was just a mild warmup for this!

Bring $$$ to donate to bands. Figure, we're saving you on dinner and drinks, and we believe in quality and quantity intersecting at a high angle, so give $5 when the hat comes around.

JonnyX & the Groadies are from Portland and play digital grind/metal with razorsharp slashy guitar, banshee wail vokills, 5% gothy synthlines, dynamic blackened melodic epicness, and the best DIY light show that is triggered with the spastic drum machine programs. This is their third time being featured at the DAM House, and each time they play, it is a jawdropping spectacle.

Night Wounds are now based in Portland with new members filling in from Vancouver's Shearing Pinx and Sacto's HGCG. Now, one of the chief Wounddawgs, Toby, got stuck in a Denver blizzard and missed a lot of practice time, so it’s not totally for certain that they will play (but all four other bands are a lock! (and food is a lock! (and so is beer!))) Their tour this summer stirred up a lot of interest from their guerilla patio set at Maximum Freedom III to New England and back. They are an uncommonly awesome mix of paradoxical elements: (a) authentic no wave guitar tone bleakness and lurchy skeletal rhythm, (b) the partyhardy vibe of fun, catchy, anthemic shoutalong vocals/lyrics, and (c) scintillating psych-treated saxophone with supreme taste and power (i.e., unlike so many aimless trendy rookie skronkers, this guy seriously knows how to play!).

Duchesses make frenzied cyclonic dervish goth that might be the outcome if Sleetmute Nightmute reworked Sex Gang Children. The supreme union of unholiness and androgyny, psychedelics and brutality. This band's led by the WTFpwning antics of Rosy Cross (ex-Danava, Princess Sweepstakes) and has that beautiful bass player from Business Lady.

Sexual Tourist are a Bay Area band of wicked corkscrew sounds underpinned by the impactful wallop of ex-Business Lady drummer Paul who is uncanny at being clever and crafty without sacrificing power or primal-ness. One cassette and a 7" EP so far have hinted at moments of This Heat, Tragic Mulatto, ...Worms, Vholtz, and the like.

Saboteurs are an Oakland-via-Bakersfield combo with chief members of that band Hips who did three 7-inchers of 89-octane garagey hardcore not unlike the more rockin' moments of the first Slant Six album, but this Saboteurs is gonna redline chuggin' premium unleaded level, so come on time (dinner served at 7:00 on the dot, and music will begin immediately)!!!
