:I concur. SSMWWT were outstanding again! I'd never seen the Pirate Ship that full before. I hope future shows prompt a similar turnout.
I thought they'd never be able to outdo themselves the first time I saw them play in a backyard on a drizzly night in San Francisco. Then they outdid themselves on New Year's Eve at 58 Tehama, and I thought they'd never outdo that. Then, they did it again at the Pirate House. Ned's guitar sounded hella-psych and shit.
That was a huge crowd, though. Too bad half of them weren't there to enjoy music. What was up with those punkers playing cards all night? They were in the way of more people enjoying themselves. Gotta move that table outta there next time there's a huge crowd.
