i don't see this helping any. the people willing to participate in something like this aren't going to be the ones with communication problems.
and honestly who cares if people don't know/care/communicate there's another show across town and want to throw their own. i think rick (happy bday) said it best - 'better too many than too few'.
there's already this site (which is sort of stagnating since no one adds shows that are at places like old i/boardwalk/distillery and thus luring new people in. i used to but it's hard for me to care anymore these days; why i even read this as often as i do bums me out a little) and there's a upcoming shows email lists, sac undie, and.. myspace.
