If there's a format I wish would die it's the cd.
I want my tangible media to be vinyl and my digital media to be an easily copyable file format. When I buy CDs I feel like a tool, as I'm just going to waste 10 minutes of my time ripping it to mp3 so that I don't have to carry my ancient bulky cd player around with me.
I especially like when record labels include mp3 downloads with the vinyl I buy from them. Do that, record labels! It's the best of both worlds.
Along similar lines, I prefer my books on paper and my news on a computer screen.
and why don't theater companies just give it up already, buy a camera and start making movies!?
WHy the fuck are we still using spoons and forks when we all know about the ultimate invention, the spork!?
don't get me started on chopsticks, in this country they're only for those WANT to look cultured, but their value in utility pales in comparison to the spork.
Why do they even keep using them in their country of origin, do they? are we just morons adopting adopting outdated customs of other cultures?
Just wait until the sex robots are perfected. Anybody try one yet?
:Just make a CD already. No one cares about your faux-retro fad. And what's with vinyl+mp3? At least make them FLACs if you actually care about audio quality.
