The Losin' Streaks' gear was stolen in Sacramento while they were on tour in Europe, not stolen on tour. Tim's place in Oak Park was burglarized and among the items taken were a number of vintage instruments and amplifiers (they lost a lot of stuff overall). They were also essentially forced to move out of their home, because their efforts to track down the "crackhead" burglars have pissed off other druggies in the 'hood. The cops went so far as tell his girlfriend to stay out of Oak Park, because they feared for her safety.
So, yeah, the Losin' Streaks totally deserve Wednesday's benefit show at the Press Club.
