There's a show that's gonna be really fun with some bands from Canada that only a few people have heard of. But it will only be $5, and there will be pizza, and you don't hafta be 21, and there won't be dudes with soul patches smoking cigars there.
Terror Bird are very unique...a total throwback band to early Tuxedomoon, Kate Bush, some mid-period Sparks, the balladry of Prince, the lyrics of Morrissey, and some other stuff that's not an often-heard influence. This sounds so much better with a lady singing. And yes, she can really sing! We're you a fan of that Jeremy Jay show with Fancie? Could you imagine Fancie staging a hostile takeover of Jeremy Jay's band?? Okay...then that's what this sounds like.
