all this shit no big news here in sac...I don't know why anyone is suprised by these things...its been going on for years...a place to play pops up..bands play....somebody shuts it down.
then magically another place shows up...and then bands play there....and so on and so on.... this is the sacto game kids... Its up to us to keep just playing and making spots to play and inviting bands who are down with coming through. we will NEVER be able to rely on any person with money/property to support us...we have to do it ourselves...there will always be a place to play and people will always stand around outside and drink, smoke and be loud...and it will definitely get shut down or just fade away cause someone moves/goes out of business


so basically its this IMHO... LFG will get shut down eventually...somebody with cold cash will buy that spot. Don't even kid yourself about a nice couple who want to support the music scene..they are nice I met them...but that spot is also prime money making and our scene is money losing..the owners have a price...Luigis for us is like a brand new ford slowly losing parts on the freeway at this point....we just need to keep driving till it falls apart completely....then we get another car....
